The initial public offering (IPO) of Ather Energy, the first issue of FY25-26 reported a sharp decline in its grey market premium (GMP) even before its subscription. The issue is witnessing a decline in the unofficial market ahead of the launch.
Previously, the IPO clocked a grey market premium of ₹7, indicating a gain equivalent to 2%.
Ather Energy IPO shall be open for bidding from Monday, April 28 to Wednesday, April 30. The price band has been set between ₹304-321 apiece. The investors can place a bid for a lot size, containing 46 equity shares and its multiples thereafter.
The IPO is valued at ₹2,980.46 crore, which includes a fresh issue of ₹2,626 crore and offer-for-sale (OFS) of up to 1,10,51,746 equity shares. Proceeds from fresh share sale will be apportioned towards capital expenditure, loan repayment and general corporate expenses.
Ather Energy posted a net loss of ₹577.9 crore with a revenue of ₹1,617.4 crore during nine months ended on March 31, 2025.
